The story
”The Sea of Memory: A Century of Tradition” is a captivating documentary that delves into the rich fishing heritage of eastern Istria, with a focus on the Labinština region. The film opens with archival footage from the early 20th century, showcasing fishermen using traditional methods to harvest the bounties of the Adriatic Sea. Through photographs and historical documents, viewers are introduced to the deep-rooted fishing traditions in the areas of Labin, Raša, and Plomin. The heart of the documentary lies in the personal stories of the fishermen themselves.
